💡Think
When was the last time you stopped?
By stop, I mean didn’t open your laptop on a weekend, didn’t scroll through work messages after hours, didn’t “send just one more email”?
I didn’t open my laptop for two whole days this weekend. If you know me you’ll know that I’m always on, so this is a pretty big move. It was backed by having a few days off to “recharge” from work (highly recommended), but historically days off for me were still centred around tech. If I hadn’t been nudged in the direction of a full blown switch off, I would’ve just gotten on as usual and complained when my eyes hurt later this evening.
Do you make time to switch off? What about in the evenings? It’s tough, I know, but we need to try and stop this before our eyes are square and backs more curved than a fish hook.

❸ The rise of oral psychodynamics
What a mouthful that headline is. I promise you it’s not a test. This is a great piece on how software, apps, services, whatever are shifting to accommodate our drive towards orally-focussed mediums of expression. Basically, a fancy way of saying “why is Clubhouse successful?”

Tyra Banks on personal branding
Yep, I’m talking about that Tyra Banks. I don’t normally chase down content from former supermodels turned entrepreneurs, but this episode was fantastic. She highlights the importance of having strong influential voices with you as you’re making your mark, and how a rock solid personal brand can ensure you make the most of what you’re given.
